                        PIGEON COMBINE....

Now here is a group of dedicated pigeon flyers.......this is an organization that started with nothing and is now really going from strength to strength.....

Great organization, and a motivated team of people(65 flying members in all) are what pigeon racing (or any sport for that matter) is really all about.. pictured below is their own transport unit and truck.. having this allows them to be fully self sufficient and self reliant..

this unit has the capacity to carry just under 3000 pigeons and is fully functional for the feeding and watering of the birds in the short and the longer distance racing....but for their 500, 600 and the 700ml events they do have a slightly smaller unit  for more convenience....

below is the truck they use to tow their unit,,,,,practical and reliable they have never had any breakdowns due a to quality maintenance program............

the Central Highlands Pigeon Combine is headed by Reg Eden, (President) and his wife Dianne is the Secretary /Treasurer, and under her watchful eye, the organization has really found its feet.................Reg & Dianne are also responsible for the safe return of hundreds of strays (back to the Metropolitan area),, that find their way into and around the Ballarat area every year...Thankyou Reg & Dianne for all you endless efforts..
