It gives me great pleasure on behalf of the Victorian Racing Pigeon Union to launch our new web site. We now have updated tools to promote our sport as well as the great achievements of our members.

The volunteered team has worked tirelessly to structure this website as per Victorian Racing Pigeon Union needs. We feel sure that it will be pleasant viewing for our members and for the interested public.

I would like to give special thanks to Nick Vlamos for his patience and attention to detail during our design stage. Any constructive criticism you may have will be noted with a view to rectify the existing site, or be kept in mind for our next upgrade.

I am looking forward to a great new series on the North track in 2009.

We have recently upgraded our computer systems which will make our administration and race results service more efficient.

We have entered in to a new arrangement with the VHA for transport from the Mount Hope stage onwards and our convoyer Cam Murrells will be on board their truck.

I'd like to wish all our members the best of luck for the new season and hope they enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow members and the enjoyment and thrills the sport brings. We need our hobby as a major distraction from the economic woes we are all facing.
